Edits

I used an adjustment layer on the first photo. The second photo I added a double border. Both pictures were taken in Bannack.

Choice

I took this flower on the day that we went to the garden and it ended up being one of my favorites. The other picture was at lake Powell just before the sun went down.

Photo Journal Layout

The cookie picture was taken on Thursday. I made the cookies and they really didn't turn out but worked for a photo. The next photo is at nature park in Rexburg on Sunday. The one next to it was on top of R mountain that a group of us climbed on Saturday. Strawberry shortcake is the next photo from Wed. I cut my hair on Monday and the next photo is from bowling on Friday. The last photo is from Tuesday and is of my boyfriend driving.

Looking up--06/03/09; 5:30 f2.7; Sony DSC-H50

Because of the weather I had a hard time finding time to take pictures because of the weather. This is what I ended up with. The first one is of my neighbor and the other three of my niece. The shower towel one is completely candid.

Match Color

Match Color- 06/03/09; 5:30 f2.; Sony DSC-H50

I took these photos all together. But the first photos I didn't realize the blue tint was on until I had already shot a few. To bad that she always does really good taking pictures at first not towards the end. So I went back and matched the color of a photo later with her earlier ones.

The first picture is a brushed-on effect that I did with a street shot. The second photo I put a double fad border. I took colors from the photo to make the outside frame then kept white in the inside.

Adjustment Layers

Flying bird; 05/09/09; 2:00 pm; Provo Utah; f/2.7; Sony DSC-H50
I sharpened the image, and changed its levels and saturation. I then blurred and burned the edges to focus on the duck itself.

I found this week to be a lot of fun. I wanted to get things from the park that I was at. It had gorgeous flowers and ducks everywhere.

HDR

HDR Photograph. Camera: Sony Cyber-shot
Program: Free trial of PhotoMatix Pro3 HDR

I was able to combine the three photos to create this photo. I did a high contrast to bring out the stormy clouds on top.
